This information is at odds with what the Russians declared [last year](https://defence24.pl/industrial/Russia-provide-o-supply-s-400-for-india-in-in-term), ensuring that they deliver the ordered S-400 anti-aircraft systems to India within the agreed timeframe, which is by the end of 2024. Now this word was postponed to August 2026. We are talking here about fresh Delhi receiving equipment for the another 2 anti-aircraft regiments (a full of S-400 was purchased for 5 specified units). This means that India must find a terminated bridge or replacement due to the fact that it is not known whether the supply of the remaining Russian OPL systems will encounter further delays. They are set up at the border with China and Pakistan, so the absence of any of them means the deficiency of an assumed level of capacity to combat air raid measures by the local airmen.
