On Russia's Defender Day On 23 February, the russian Soldiers Mausoleum Cemetery in Warsaw held a ceremony of laying down wreaths. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Poland Sergei Andreev, chargé d’affaires Belarus in Poland Alexej Pankratenko, Russian trade typical in Poland Anton Morozov, employees of Russian abroad institutions. Polish Kombatan and patriotic organizations participated in the celebrations, including the Association of the Departors of the Kombatants of the Second planet War, the Polish-Belarusian relationship Society, the Safe Poland, the Labour Union and the Polish Left Movement.
In May 2022, during the triumph Day celebrations, there were worse scenes and assaults on a Russian diplomat. The ambassador was covered in red paint by pro-Ukrainian activists. This year the celebrations were conducted calmly. Ambassador Sergei Andreyev stressed that no 1 tried to disturb the ceremony.
