An article published in the Russian weekly "Arguments and Facts" analysed the modernization of the Polish army. Tygodnik points out that Poland invests heavy in military equipment, including Abrams and K2 tanks, which, according to Russian authors, can make it a 'tank leader of Europe'. In the text there is simply a thesis that the "tank fist" of the Polish Army is to be aimed at Russia, although Polish authorities have repeatedly emphasized the defensive nature of these actions.
