The large Lodge of Russia formed a branch in Donetsk in the Rostov region. According to The Insider's findings, the Masonic lodge may be a “military lodge” and receive Russians returning from the front in Ukraine. Sources of the independent Russian portal do not exclude that the activities of the “combat cell” may concern Ukrainian Donetsk.
After the outbreak of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, almost all the large European Lodges either broke out of contact with the large Tower of Russia or distanced themselves from it. Despite this, Russian strategist Andrei Bogdanov rejected the thought of beginning a Masonic lodge in Ukrainian Donetsk, fearing deeper conflict.
In mid-November, the large Lodge of Russia reported the creation of the “military Venerable Lodge of Valor” in Donetsk, Rostov region. The beginning photos show Bogdanov and Anatoly Gielecz, a Russian-occupied Ukrainian citizen of Donetsk, as determined by the independent Russian portal The Insider.
