We wrote [in February of this year](https://defence24.pl/industry/Russian-with-new-launcher-rocket-thermobaric rocket launcher). It was then speculated that the fresh chassis for the TOS-3 would be the T-80 tank, whose production the Russians want to restart. As it turns out, it is most likely the hull of the T-90 household vehicles, which is presently the only tank produced from scratch in Russia (in the T-90M variant). As we can see in the photo, the fresh launcher (5x3) received an additional rod shield to increase its protection from FPV drones. The launcher module has distinctive support brackets, which means that, like in the TOS-1, to decision from the starting position to the combat position, it is essential to leave the vehicle by part of the crew to unlock it.
