Russian authorities are illegally planning to open 16 electoral venues in the separatist region Transnistria to conduct September elections to the State Duma, the lower home of Parliament.
The Kremlin is going against the ban issued by Moldova – reported the Ukrainian Government Centre for Combating Disinformation (CPD).
"MFA of Moldova called on the Russian ambassador to talk and gave him a protest note. Chisinau allowed only 1 electoral venue to be opened at the Russian embassy, but Moscow is voluntarily planning to open another 16 premises on the left bank of Dniestr", says the Friday CPD announcement on Telegram.
