Russia does not request a ceasefire with Ukraine [ OPINION]

Consent to a 30-day ceasefire is simply a superb diplomatic decision from Ukraine. The Ukrainians do not lose anything on it, but they gain much: both at the front and inside the country and abroad. On the front they will have 30 days to: strengthen their defensive positions, exchange troops fighting on the font and replenish ammunition – all the more so due to the fact that agreeing to a truce in negotiations with the Americans resulted in the resumption of American aid.
