The data analysed by NHK are based on data published by the Chinese customs authorities. Until 2015-2021, exports to Russia were almost unnoticed. It began to change since 2022. Only in the full year 2022 did Russia import around 700 tonnes** of nitrocellulose. In 2023 it was more than 1300 tonnes**, which means an increase of almost 2 times, and this coincides with information about the transition of the Russian Federation to the war economy. This year during the period of January-March, NHK stated that China's exported material was about 110 tonnes.
