The Russian army utilized the russian BTR-60 armored transporters mainly in units of further throw before the invasion of Ukraine, and more frequently only specialized versions were seen. The subsequent years of war and the resulting tremendous losses and the deficiency of production of specified equipment by the local manufacture (manufacturing only the BTR-82A wheeled infantry wagons) consequence in massive withdrawal of additions from military syntaxes and units from across the country. The consequence is simply a return to the army, e.g. withdrawn years ago and decades ago BTR-60s, which have already appeared for many months on the front.
