First of all, I must thank you for choosing me as president of your convention. I am pleased that we realize each another and that the young generation is taking up work towards all Poland. At the same time, however, I must tell you: avoid Talmudism, keep to what was written. We gotta keep creating, keep moving forward. Overtaken by another nations, we must rapidly recover and catch up with civilization.
I myself have gone far from many of the things I erstwhile wrote. The object of our camp is to keep moving forward. Hence so many people left our ranks, incapable to follow us and to realize that no of what he created the camp—except, of course, the basic principles of his ideology—is a dead expression that can be learned and thought no further. In order to truly supply the nation with our greatness and power, we must be curious in everything and strive for the top possible expansion of our influences and interests. Poland will never accomplish a power position if it deals solely with its own affairs and interests. It will not be large if it does not search to regulate relations between another countries.During the peace conference, the countries were divided into countries with “general” and “party” interests. Even as large a power as China – although as the Chinese delegate expressed it more represented the population than all another countries in the conference combined – due to their small interest in the affairs of the world, they were included among the countries with “party interests”. The most crucial matters were decided without the participation of the delegate of China and delegates of another states with ‘party interests’ interests. Only then will he be a mighty country with which they will reckon. Thietmar, a German historian, says of Boleslaw that he had spies at all German courts. This proves that this ruler's policy was a policy of a large state, having its interests everywhere and being curious about everything. Therefore, the borders of Poland never reached as far as then. erstwhile this policy ran out, the unity and power of the state remained. Since Poland became a state, the policy of nobility has ruled everything, which did not think about the state, but only about its interests. The policy of then Poland is summarised in the statement: "Where wheat does not grow, it is not worth going there". In these times we have so low down in the field of global policy that we have not intervened in the substance of most of our concern, in the case of east Prussia. If Poland could bear what it meant, it was only the thought of a large nation. Activists during the war did not have that thought. They linked Poland's future to Germany's victory, and depended on it. We have understood that we request to take a stand on European affairs. First of all, Germany must be destroyed. We want Germany to be beaten, due to the fact that only in this case could we get the land that gives us access to the sea. The goal was to separate these lands from Germany. If this war does not give us independency – we thought – then the united will win it in a fewer years or respective decades. So the first goal was to overthrow Germany, the second unification of the Polish lands, and independency was to crown the work. That as a consequence of the war we obtained everything at the same time – this is simply a large happiness, which Poles do not really know and understand. The Polish population has a number of natural resources, more than they have, for example: Italy, which has no iron, no coal, no kerosene. In general, we have more natural conditions than this country. We only deficiency 1 thing: the thoughts of a large nation. We live by the scraps of what another nations make. We request knowledge, self-production in all areas of creativity, and above all reasoning of a large nation. In the absence of this thought of the large nation, we who have given the Treaty of Versailles despite the countering of specified Lloyd George only that we have come down to a position equal to Gdańsk or Lithuania of Kowieńska. If we had independent creativity, we would have had a different impact on Central Europe another would be our attitude towards the Czech Republic and Romania. We have come to make national thought and political action. It's up to you to keep getting it. And we have 2 tasks to defend from the judaic flood and go outside. We must know the full world. I late read Gardolini's book on Fascism. He writes of any leaders of Italian nationalists that they have gone besides far in their nationalism, that they have stuck in the interior life of the nation and have ceased to be curious in what is happening outside. The fascists say they care about the full world. And in that I see an highly healthy Italian instinct. So remember what it takes to have a powerful policy. If we do not make a large intellectual effort, sooner or later we will become the spoil of Germany. That's why I'm asking you not to be Talmudists. hard work should be moved forward, due to the fact that we have a lot to do.
