The fact “audible”
The fact about planet War II is small known in Germany. They besides have a problem with the ruling – rated Karol Nawrocki during the 87th celebration of the outbreak of planet War II on Westerplatte.
Karol Nawrocki stressed that although many facts concerning planet War II may seem widely known, fact and work require their constant reminder. He besides pointed out that any of the fact about this conflict is inactive not present in the awareness of the western neighbours of Poland and allies in Berlin and Germany. In his opinion, Europe does not know or wants to know certain facts that neither do the Atlantic. He added that the problem is besides with those presently in power.
The president stressed that a memorial commemorating Polish victims of planet War II was inactive not created in Berlin.
I would like to thank all Poles and Germans who are seeking specified a monument. It's not a real alliance if we can't build a statue like this in Berlin.
Reparation
The president besides left out the subject of war reparations.
I appeal from here, from Westerplatte, to the Chancellor of Germany, to the German people: let us settle the substance of reparation and redress with a view to historical justice, but besides with a view to the future.
The president noted that the funds obtained as part of the reparation could be used, among another things, to strengthen the Polish army and improve the safety of the country. He stressed that Poland should not make abroad financial commitments in order to get funds which, in his opinion, are due to losses suffered during planet War II. He besides pointed out that reparations could now contribute to greater safety in Europe.
Nawrocki besides appealed to the Prime Minister, the members of the government, the marshal and all groups represented in the Polish parliament for cooperation over divisions. He called on the Polish authorities and society to work together to get a reparation from Germany, presenting this issue as part of the pursuit of historical justice and building a common future.
This is not the first time the president has raised this issue. As early as March, during his gathering with the voters, he informed about a conversation with Chancellor Friedrich Merzem on the anticipation of supporting Polish defence.
It's been 87 years.
Prior to the commencement of the main part of the celebrations at the Polish Army Soldiers Cemetery on Westerplatte, the wreath “From the Nation” was placed. The ceremony was attended by President, Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Piotr Zgorzelski, Head of the Chancellery of president Zbigniew Bogucki and Head of BBN Bartosz Grodecki.
The morning celebrations, according to a long tradition, began just before 4.45 p.m. with the launch of the alarm sirens. The minute of the German attack on the Military Transit Component on Westerplatte was commemorated on September 1, 1939.
In addition to the President, Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, representatives of the government, parliamentarians and local government participated in the celebrations.
