Anniversary of June 4. Do Poles have anything to celebrate

The overthrow of communism and the anniversary of 4 June 1989 are events from which Poles can be proud, but which are not at the forefront of the most crucial episodes of history, are besides not widely recognized. Should we then celebrate this anniversary?
