Ballistic rocket launched by the Huti rebels from Yemen hit Ben Guriona Airport in central Israel on Sunday - the Israeli army reported. Emergency services reported respective somewhat injured. Air operations were halted for about half an hour, but traffic has already been restored.
The military added that respective attempts to intercept the rocket had been made earlier.
The rocket hit a grove adjacent to 1 of the method roads within the airport - reported the Times of Israel portal.
Supported by Iran Huti since the outbreak of the Gaza War, Israel has been attacked by rockets and drones. The raid on Sunday morning was the 5th rebel attack in the last 2 days. (PAP)
