Always say little than enough
Keys to power. Power is simply a good game of appearances. The little you speak, the more you are seen as individual greater and more powerful than in reality. Your silence will make others uncomfortable. People are constantly interpreting machines and everything inquiring – they request to know what you think. They will not know your intentions or your meanings if you can control what you reveal.
Your short answers and silence will put them in a defensive position. Nervously filling in silence, they will come in with a variety of remarks revealing valuable information about themselves and their weaknesses. They will leave the gathering feeling that they have been robbed, and will return home to analyse all word you say. The focus of their attention on your succinct statements will only add to your seriousness.
Andy Warhol, as a young man, suffered a revelation, realizing that speaking alone can mostly not force people to act in the way we would like.
People will turn against you, they will destruct your desires, they will argue you from specified stubbornness. Warhol erstwhile told a friend, “I realized that you actually have more power erstwhile you are silent.”

Sometimes they address broader issues: crucial things or strong emotions specified as love or gratitude. They scope for generalizations, while simple, everyday reality can have a greater effect. What they don't realize is that even the most powerful man functions within his own needs and that if you don't address his individual interests, he'll treat you like a desperate man or, at best, a stalker who exposes him to a waste of time.
The key step in this process is to realize the psychology of the another person. Is she vain? Does he care about his reputation or social position? Does he have enemies in which you might prove useful? Is her only motivation money and power?
When in the 12th century The Mongols invaded China, threatened to destruct the culture that has developed for over 2,000 years. Their chief Genghis Khan saw nothing in China but a land where there was no pasture for his horses, so he decided to destruct everything, equalling the city to the ground, due to the fact that "it would be best to cut the Chinese into a trunk and sow grass." Not a soldier, not a general or a king, but a man named Yelu Ch’uts’ai saved the Chinese people from misfortune. Although he was a foreigner, he appreciated the greatness of Chinese culture. He became a trusted advisor to Gengischan and convinced him that he would be able to collect large wealth from the conquered land if, alternatively of destroying it, he simply taxed all the inhabitants. Chan acknowledged Ch’uts’ai’s wisdom and followed his advice.
After a long siege, Chan took over the city of Kaifeng and decided to cut down its population (as in another cities that resisted it), Ch’uts’ai told him that the best Chinese craftsmen and engineers had fled to Kaifeng and that it would be better to usage them. Kaifeng was saved. Never before has Genghis Khan shown specified pity, but in fact it was not mercy that saved Kaifeng.
Ch’uts’ai met Chan well. This barbarian peasant had no culture and everything that did not service war and applicable purposes. Ch’uts’ai decided to address the only emotions that affected this man – greed.
Self-interest is simply a origin that can stimulate people to act. If you only realize to them how you can contribute to gathering their own needs or aid them approach their goal, their opposition to your request for aid will magically disappear. At all phase of gaining power, you request to learn the ways of reasoning of another person, you request to see their needs and interests, you request to get free of the veil of your own feelings that distort the truth. Master this play and the limits of what you will be able to accomplish will disappear.
