This information means that the number of Marder 1A3 combat infantry vehicles to be transferred to Ukraine - **except for 90 vehicles already delivered**, is increased from 30 to 50 copies (a full of 140 copies). So far, the Ukrainians were to lose at least 5 specified wagons (another 6 were abandoned and their destiny is unknown). The German company besides announced that the renovation work at the Unterluess and Kassel plant in Mardery 1 had already started in March 2022 at its own expense. This allowed them to be much faster to dispose either straight for Ukraine (90 out of 140 copies so far) or Greece (40 pieces) [which in return donated to Kiev its BMP-1 Ost](https://defence24.pl/defence-defence-policy/first-German-marders-juz-in-greece). There may be respective twelve more wagons in both manufacture and military supplies.
