On Sunday, April 7, 2024 the first circular of local elections was held. In their course, voters decided who would represent the interests of local government in the coming term. Election venues were open from 7:00 to 9:00.
Who won the local elections in Krakow?
As we learn from the first poll results, Aleksander Miszalski (PO) received 39.4% of the vote, while Łukasz Gibala (Kraków for Residents) received 28.4%. Kraków will see a second circular of local elections, which will take place on 21 April.

Who can take part in local elections?
In the local elections, all Polish citizens, who were 18 years old at the latest on the day of the vote, were listed in the registry of voters of the municipality, region or voivodship and were not deprived of the active electoral right.
