One individual was injured as a consequence of a kidnapping by an avalanche that came down Wednesday under the Rysami. Currently, the Tatras have a second degree of avalanche danger.
As reported by Tatra Volunteer Rescue Service, the individual kidnapped by the avalanche was transported by chopper to a infirmary in Zakopane.
25 rescues, along with dogs and drones, took part in the rescue under Rysami.
An avalanche hazard
The Tatras have a second degree of avalanche danger. The TNP warns tourists that travelling in the mountains now requires the ability to measure local avalanche threat, appropriate way selection and keep simple safety measures on all steep slopes.
