The Republic of Korea announces a plan to build nuclear-powered submarines

On May 26, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Korea officially announced the launch of work on the improvement of technologies to enable the construction of nuclear-powered submarines. This initiative is linked to the improvement of (potential) threats by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
