The renovation's getting fast!

Ladies and gentlemen,

I have already written respective times about the request to decision out of the PAST building, which houses our current office.

I will remind you: the main reason is the difficulties that the building manager "delivers" to us, frequently affecting the efficiency of the regular work of the combined teams of the Life and household Centre and the Ordo Iuris Institute, with which we share our seat.

Lawyers of Ordo Iuris have just obtained court custody, so that we are not in danger of being removed from the premises for the duration of the court proceedings. Nor will we gotta pay arbitrary and illegal retroactive (!) rent increases.

However, this does not change the fact that under specified circumstances, effective work cannot be continued. We must not waste valuable time as well as the resources of our Donors – including many of you – to conduct specified disputes. We must address the issues of life, family, freedom and sovereignty!

Another issue is simply the deficiency of space. The combination of the Centre of Life and household forces with the Ordo Iuris Institute, and then the expansion of the teams by more people (which, of course, had a connection with more of the challenges that the rulers had put before us), led to the fact that we ceased to fit in the presently rented office.

Therefore, I would like to thank each of you for having responded to my appeal to support the renovation of our fresh headquarters! Even though we haven't raised the full amount yet, I know we've had them. Friends like you, we can prepare to decision in peace.

In January, we signed a 10-year lease on a fresh office in a alleged blue tower. Last week, we signed a contract with a carefully elected contractor.Today we are at the finish of the plan work.

Thanks to the large solidarity of our permanent Donors, but besides the Sympaths, who in this exceptional situation decided for the first time to donate for a local intent – we collected a large part of the amount needed to carry out the renovation.

Thanks to this support we could already pay the first, large invoice to cover the costs of repair materials. And this is simply a powerful sum of over PLN 250,000!

Work is presently underway on the deployment of method installations, electrical networks and lighting. We gotta consult with further experts on wellness and safety standards and acquisition further materials. And soon, the performers will begin their first demolition work.

I would like you to know that we are not "sand" with money. At any time we wonder where we can save money to make the best usage of your donations.

Once again, thank you warmly for all your aid in this unique situation where we request your support so much!

In addition to the words of support, both our foundations experience extraordinary gestures of community and unity, e.g.:

• we have received from 1 of the large companies a very good set of office furniture – including valuable soundproofing cabins for telephone calls and video conferencing;
• Many Donors supported us, for example, in designing IT networks, in safety issues, or even... in choosing carpets.

We inactive have a lot to do and, of course, very advanced costs to bear. We have to:

• divide many open spaces so that our many teams can have comfortable working conditions – more than 20 rooms request to be separated;
• prepare a large conference area where we can organise larger meetings of the combined teams, invitation our guests, Donors and Beneficiaries, and organise seminars or press conferences;
• Obviously, each of the above rooms is equipped with missing furniture – desks, chairs, cabinets;
• invest in IT equipment and make a peculiar server area to specifically guarantee IT security.

We have already collected any of these costs from your donations to date. As I mentioned earlier, But we inactive haven't raised the full amount, due to the fact that it takes over a million zlotys for everything!

I know that you realize perfectly well how serious the fight is presently taking place in Poland for the protection of life and household and how committed we are to it.

Therefore, I ask you very much to support the renovation and our decision to the fresh office through the website headquarters.chir.org.

In addition to the plaques with names of our Donors, which will hang on 1 of the main walls of the fresh office, we besides offer the anticipation of naming circumstantial halls or rooms in our office by their own name or voluntarily chosen by their name (the map is on this page).

Many Donors have already made usage of this opportunity. Hence, the conference area will be dedicated to the full community of Friends and Contributors, the administration squad will work in the hall of St.Andrew Bobola – Patron of Poland, experts of the global Law Center will take over the hall of Blessed Michael J. McGivney – the founder of the Knights of Columbus. But there are also names referring to the well-deserved grandma of 1 of the Donors or an net nickname!

I would like to point out that the Centre for Social Campaigns, where a crucial part of the Life and household Center squad will work, does not yet have its Founder. Therefore, I encourage you to take an interest in this matter!
