Hand: March to Independence

The 3rd Republic of Poland cannot be considered sovereign despite the external attributes of independence. Our sovereignty is completely limited officially, in relation to membership in the European Union, which in fact already has the state's characteristics, which, in case of emergency, we do not tell Poles to be sorry.

This is not a question of conspiracy, but of simple political analysis.

Formal and real limits on sovereignty

The law of the Union is superior to Polish law, no declarations of erstwhile Polish Sejm or Courts are able to change anything in this respect, due to the fact that this rule is enshrined in the EU treaties, which subsequent Polish governments agreed to accept. The limitation of sovereignty is, of course, besides belonging to NATO, which comes down to ceding part of the competences of defence, but also, for example, the military budget for a transnational structure far beyond the military alliance of equal, independent entities. Finally, there are informal links, but actually already public ones today, confirming above all the deficiency of Polish economical sovereignty, assigned to the dominant German economy in this part of Europe. Joyful march, though without teeth

For many reasons, however, Polexit was not, although it should be, the main slogan of the last March of Independence, as were the participants among themselves, but not the organizers talked about the request to remove another restrictions on our sovereignty as well. Well, seemingly it was not the atmosphere of a joyful, household vacation into which it evolved from March, for the benefit of its popular image and turnout, but a failure to political clarity.
