Swiatlana Cichanouska, visiting Vienna, attended the OSCE ministerial session at the invitation of the OSCE president, Finnish abroad Minister Elina Valtonen.
During the session, head of the European diplomacy Kaia Kallas condemned the support of the Lukashenko government for the Russian war and repression. The Minister of abroad Affairs of Norway welcomed the presence of Cichanouska and called for further support from the Belarusian democratic forces. The head of the Luxembourg MFA condemned Belarus' vote in the UN against the resolution on the return of Ukrainian children and stressed the importance of releasing Siarhei Cichanouski and all political prisoners. Lithuania condemned Minsk's hybrid attacks and stressed the request to support democratic forces. At all times, a typical of the Ministry of abroad Affairs of Belarus was present in the room, informs the press service Cichanouska.
At the margins of the event, Cichanouska met with the abroad Ministers of Luxembourg, Finland, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Armenia, as well as the president and Secretary-General of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
There was besides a separate session devoted to Belarus, during which the Deputy Ministers of Lithuania, Estonia, the Czech Republic, the Ambassadors of the OSCE States, the Secretaries of the State of Spain and Canada spoke.
