Secretary of State in the safety Council of Belarus Alaksandr Walfowicz met with Secretary of the safety Council of Russia Sergei Szojgu, informs Belta. The gathering was held within the advanced typical Forum liable for safety issues.

The event took place on 27-29 May in Moscow, where they gathereddelegations from over 120 countries.

After the gathering with Szojgu Walfowicz told journalists that the plan of bilateral cooperation with the Russian Federation was clarified and discussed issues related to the safety of the union state.

“Bilateral cooperation plan 2024-2025 on safety expires this year,” he said. “We discussed our approach to the plan for the next 2 years. I think we will sign it at the end of this year."

“We have besides discussed the implementation of the provisions of the Union State safety Concept and the safety warrant Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The Belarusian Institute of strategical Studies has developed a paper that presents the provisions of the national State safety Concept.

This is the first specified extended analysis. Today, during our bilateral meeting, it was handed over to Russian colleagues to survey and present proposals for a second volume or a second part of the study," said the Secretary of State.

“Belarusian side is very careful about all strategical planning documents, especially in the national state. We take all these papers under the strictest scrutiny for implementation, due to the fact that our safety depends on gathering the provisions of these strategical conceptual documents," Walfowicz added.
