The episode is above 19 km. Redevelopment will include 44 engineering facilities, including 7 bridges. 1 of them, in Osielec by Skawa, was created before the war, in 1930. It will besides be upgraded 40 intersections. According to General Traffic measurement data 2020/2021, a section of DK28 passes almost regular 8,000 vehicles.
The documentation contractor was DATABOUT. The value of the contract is 9.9 million PLN. The full task, i.e. the preparation of the concept of modernisation and the obtaining of papers to enable the start of work, is to take time four and a half years.
National Road No. 28 leads from Zator to the border crossing with Ukraine in Medicine. This is simply a GP-class way (main accelerated traffic) of 1x2 cross section. The Krakow branch of GDDKiA informs that all sections on which it plans changes have a full of almost 100 km.
