In the Ukrainian budget there is no money for mobilization," said Dmytro Razumkow deputy in an interview with Ukrainian Channel 5.

‘The army is financed exclusively from the Ukrainian budget. This means that the money we receive as grants or loans from our abroad partners does not go to the army – it cannot be diverted there. To get something, we request the Ukrainian economy to make more" - explained the politician.

Razumkow said present he has no place to get that money. He recalled that erstwhile the budget for 2024 was adopted, his deficit was 47 percent.

Zelenski said in December 2023 that he was approached by representatives of the AFU General Staff with a proposal to mobilise an additional 450 000-500 000 people.

Forbes magazine wrote this week about the Ukrainian army missing respective twelve brigades. According to the publication, command sent a unit without dense equipment under Rabotino as reinforcements.

The Ukrainian Parliament is presently considering a second version of the bill on mobilisation, which was adopted at first reading in early February.

The paper obliges citizens aged 18 to 60 to carry military registration papers during mobilisation and to show them on request to military registration officials, police and border guards. Persons subject to military work must besides study to military registration and collection offices in order to update their data within 60 days of the announcement of mobilisation. The call may be sent via an electronic conscript office. If a individual subject to a military work does not study to the military conscript office within the set time limit, it is proposed to restrict any of its rights.

The bill introduced 4 195 amendments. The Committee of the Council on National Security, Defence and Intelligence voted in favour of excluding administrative measures concerning military conscription abroad, blocking accounts and driving vehicles. As noted in the People's Servant, the paper contained no restrictions on taxation evasion. The European Business Association opposed the paper and requested that it not be adopted in this form. The head of the Home Party, Julia Tymoshenko, besides said that the fresh bill's draft was unacceptable, and his acceptance would be a crime against Ukraine.
