Change of course: president Trump's National safety strategy Paper

If president Trump's paper on the national safety strategy for 2025 is of any importance, and I hope it does, The Union of Atomic Scientists can take the doom clock back by a fewer hours.
If president Trump's strategy survives the opposition of interest groups and the ideological left of the Democratic organization and his successors proceed it, president Trump has indeed changed the course of America and the world.
The paper supports many points that I have raised for decades. I'll go to any of them in a moment, but first The most crucial thing is to abandon Wolfowitz's doctrine about American hegemony.
Instead of this doctrine conducive to war, Trump's strategy is to approach the planet based on economical competitiveness. The most crucial is the call for a return to strategical stableness between Russia and the United States and Europe. The deficiency of strategical stableness between the West and Russia is the way to atomic war. Trump's approach to national safety so addresses the most fundamental issue of our time.
The paper states that U.S. elites have mistakenly and destructively placed themselves on globalisation and alleged "free trade", which has taken out the mediate class and industrial base on which the American economical and military power depends, and it was admitted that it was the policy of offshoring American jobs in manufacture that built the Chinese economy.
\Document criticises American political elites for linking American politics to a network of global institutions, many of which are guided by anti-Americanism and trans-nationalism, which clearly seeks to dissolve the sovereignty of individual states in the Babel Tower. To guarantee success, America must be uncompromising with the past and present of the country. We must regain our confidence, damaged by the intellectual elite. We must turn our backs on liberal efforts to destruct our religion in ourselves by preaching guilt and national cohesion with open borders.
The paper recognises the importance of spiritual and cultural wellness and people arrogant of their achievements and heroes. The efforts of the liberal left to make a culture of self-criticism and guilt, if successful, will lead to the failure of the country. The paper rejects the liberal-left DEI policy. Without a merit-based system, the United States will not be able to compete in the planet and will be left out by others.
The paper expresses concern about Western self-esteem and identity in Europe, whose weakness, combined with low birth rates and mass immigration, threatens Europe civilizational erasure . If current trends persist, Europe will be unrecognizable in 20 years or less.
The paper is not perfect. It avoids assigning Washington any work for conflict in Ukraine. It besides does not combine the offshoring of American production with the US trade deficit. Nevertheless, this is simply a much better strategy than anything I expected from Washington. If Trump's national safety policy affects his approach to negotiations with Putin, we should shortly find a sensible solution.
