During an authoritative gathering in the United States, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the MFA Radosław Sikorski presented an American Secretary of State Marco Rubio with a symbolic gift – the first 1989 "High Noon" election poster, signed by erstwhile president Lech Walesa.

The poster, which refers to the celebrated western with Gary Cooper, was 1 of the most recognizable symbols of the Solidarity electoral run before partially free elections on June 4, 1989. It became an icon of peaceful opposition to the communist strategy and a symbol of the revival of democracy in Central and east Europe.
The next point of the plan was the joint handover of the Lech Wałęsa Solidarity Prize. Let us remind that this award was awarded by the Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs, established in 2014, but after 1 installment it was suspended and returned to it again from 2024.
The celebrations are held in Miami. The MFA has already revealed who will be awarded the Solidarity Prize. It is "a typical of the Cuban opposition, persecuted by their beliefs and conflict for human rights". This year's winner was Cuban dissident Berta Soler Fernández.
Sikorski besides wants to meet another American politicians, both Republicans and Democrats. There are besides talks with representatives of Cuban emigration and Polonia.

Let us add that on Wednesday 3 September Karol Nawrocki will besides pay a visit to the United States. The main point of the program will be to meet US president Donald Trump in the White House. This is Nawrocki's first authoritative visit to Washington since he took office.
The event will begin at 11:00 local time (17:00 Polish time) with the authoritative welcome of the president of Poland by Donald Trump at the confederate portico of the White House. A series of authoritative protocol points are then provided, including the reciprocal presentation of the delegations of both countries, entry in the memorial book and a short air show on South Lawn.
The main political talks will begin at 11:25 p.m. (17:25 p.m. Polish time) in the Oval Office. After them, at 11:55 (at 5:55 p.m. Polish time), plenary talks were scheduled for both presidents in a working breakfast expression at the White home Cabinet.
