There are no silent comments to the interview of American writer Tucker Carlson with Vladimir Putin. It was clear that whatever Putin's interlocutor, and the direction in which the conversation would take place, it would make a general stir, and the fact itself would be considered a form of support for Putin's political actions. The conversation was only expected to confirm these opinions. However, can this interview truly be considered a form of support for Russian propaganda in the framework of the ongoing information war. I don't think so.
Putin hasn't said anything in his course that he or Medvedev has said in fresh years. Of course, our Poles are most curious in references to Poland. Among them, we have a mixture of opinions with which we find it hard to reconcile with absurd ones with their political justification. The fact is that the joint demolition of Czechoslovakia was carried out by the 3rd Reich, Hungary and the Sanitational Polish authorities, but with the strong support of the majority of Polish society.
Of course, this incorrect decision had its historical justification, so what the Czechs had done 2 decades earlier. However, this does not change the fact that it has been taken. I mention to the exposition of the Museum of the Czechoslovak Army in Prague, where this alliance and the Polish participation in it were clearly exposed and surely not Putin, but only Czech authorities.
Of course, contrary to Putin's authoritative position, this decision cannot be an argument to justify the explanation that the prosecution for the outbreak of planet War II is on the side of Germany and Poland, due to the fact that Poland which did not submit to German demands left Germany no choice. This does not justify the USSR's behaviour on 17 September or the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact. A proverbial shot at Putin's knee is the message that the seizure of the Polish East Borders by the USSR was justified due to the fact that these lands belonged historically to Russia earlier. These lands actually belonged temporarily to Russia, but never in this area the percent of Russian nationality prevailed over Poles, though they never even reached specified a level. And if so, how does Putin feel that east Ukraine and Crimea should belong to Russia due to the fact that the Russians prevail there, which is, of course, true, but at the same time specified justification ruins opinions justifying Russian claims to the Polish East Borders.
As I wrote at the outset of Putin's controversial opinions on Poland, the issue of fresh years is nothing but retaliation for Poland's aggressive and thoughtless policy towards Russia under the regulation of Law and Justice. After all, Putin has ruled Russia for nearly a 4th of a century and his attitude towards Poland for more than a decade of his regulation had no signs of resentment, hatred or phobia. If he truly believed what he was saying present to an untrained American journalist, would he have appeared on Westerplatte, would he have complimented Poland as he utilized to? Or possibly he just wasn't honest then or now. It may be driven by cool pragmatism, which requires him to talk at a given moment, what he considers best for the interests of the state he represents, states that do not want to come from marginalizing his function to supply natural resources to the remainder of the world. possibly if Poland had acted differently from Russia, specified words would never have come up.
Many Poles contact Putin, but they easy forget that in their own country there are equally controversial opinions of politicians talking about the request to dismantle the Russian Federation, justifying the control of the Kaliningrad circuit to Poland or even xenophobic statements towards the Russian people as specified calling for persecution of Russians, discrimination or even killing them whether they support Russia's current policy or not. You'd like to say who fights by sword dies by sword.
We are appalled by the statements of the Russian leader, but almost all day Polish-language tv channels belonging to Polsat or TVNu broadcast historical documentary films produced in France, large Britain or the United States, in which films besides have scandalous and controversial opinions about the past of Poland in the 20th century, unfortunately no of the institutions appointed in Poland respond to these lies. This does not frustrate Poles nor discourage Western “partners”.
If these institutions were to respond and Poland took care of a permanent message, let us not be afraid of this propaganda word in the form of a Polish-speaking tv channel broadcasting 24 hours a day and a web portal in the 10 most popular languages of the world, then the interviewing American writer Tucker Carlson would not be so ignorant of history. possibly we wouldn't gotta worry about who the planet would believe, Poland or Putin. due to the fact that is this a good sign of us Poles and the country of Poland, if we are afraid in the 21st century with specified ease of reaching any corner of the planet that people will believe in Putin's propaganda manipulations more easy than in historical truth? Poland can afford absurd spending losing waste of public funds, not afford to run its own professional communicative representing Polish national interest directed by the net and satellite TV.
