Volodymyr Zelenski asked by journalists in Kiev what action he expected from the US if Russia refused to agree to the truce, replied that Moscow he will meet with strong steps and Ukraine will be strengthened. Disadvantaged agreement for Russia
Mr Zelenski besides stated that the findings made between Ukraine and the United States at the gathering in Saudi Arabia were not favourable to the Kremlin. He noted that Russia is trying to make tensions between Ukraine and the US, and the effects of the talks can be interpreted in various ways.

Zelenski reiterated that although the fight against specified an enemy is highly difficult, Ukraine will not recognise any territories occupied by Russia due to the fact that it is at war for its independence. The president besides ruled out any election in his country during the martial law.

Putin won't let that happen?
Reuters, citing Russian sources, reported that Russian president Vladimir Putin would most likely not accept American proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine.

One Russian origin estimated that from Moscow's point of view the proposal to suspend weapons looked like a trap due to the fact that Putin would not agree to end the war without concrete guarantees or promises.
