The Russian-language investigative portal Dossier Center published an interview with Captain Gleb Karakulov, a erstwhile national Protection Service officer who fled through Istanbul to the West on 14 October 2022 with his family. Before escaping, he served in the presidential communications department. His duties included providing Putin with classified information and configuring encrypted communication so that he could talk safely while travelling.
