According to the “Meduza” investigative journalists' service, the “freezing” action of SIM cards has been underway in Russia since 10 November, which did not log into Russian telecoms for at least 72 hours. Russian "returning" SIM cards from abroad are automatically denied access to the network over a day – in order to activate them, you must complete a protocol confirming that the card and the subscriber are active.
