The amendment would take place by modifying the Rules of Procedure of the General Court. Waldemar Żurek wants the flag of the European Union to appear in the courtrooms as early as 1 May 2026 – next to the Head of the Republic and the white-red flag. This is to apply to both public and private cases. "This is simply a scandalous solution, both from the point of view of the legal strategy and constitutional standards, and due to national identity, for which symbolic issues are of fundamental importance," emphasised Dr. Marcin Romanowski, erstwhile Deputy Minister of Justice, associate of the Law and Justice, in his conversation with “Our Journal”.
