The friendly Russia president of Bulgaria resigned. Now he will fight for parliament

Bulgaria's president Rumen Radew is due to resign from his post today. The politician most likely wants to run in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Its non-existent group, with a mildly Eurosceptic profile, has a chance for a good result. If this happens, the fresh government may be more adversarial to Russia and more distant to aid Ukraine.
