Opening of the hearing
President Dariusz Joński began the proceeding and stresses that the decisions of Prime Minister Morawiecki were taken without adequate legal basis, in accordance with the decision of the Provincial Administrative Court. It besides recalls that the Act on peculiar Rules for Presidential Elections, signed by president Duda on 8 May 2020, entered into force a day later. This bill, which was an initiative of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of Justice, established only a correspondence vote.
The proceeding of Mateusz Morawiecki concerns decisions made by the Prime Minister. In April 2020, based on anti-covid legislation, the Prime Minister issued an injunction decision Polish Post and PWPW undertake actions related to the organisation of presidential elections in correspondence.
Morawiecki did not submit any formal applications. Only Mariusz Krystian of the PiS applied for exclusion from the proceedings of Dariusz Joński, but he was rejected.
Question Time
Dariusz Joński questioned Mateusz Morawiecki about the decisions concerning the envelope election. Morawiecki asked for the chance to talk freely, but Joński refused. Morawiecki expressed surprise at the fact that he was deprived of his right to speak, citing the Code of Law. He subsequently appealed against the Ionian decision, which was, however, rejected.
Morawiecki then explained that decisions were taken in accordance with the COVID-19 laws. Ionian asked for any omissions from Jack Sasin. Morawiecki replied that he saw the efforts of the 2 companies that received the decision from the Prime Minister to rapidly implement it. Joński repeated the question, and Morawiecki stressed that they acted at a hard time. This was about political change on the part of the Civic Platform. Joński disabled the microphone to the erstwhile Prime Minister and asked the question erstwhile again.
