Alexander Dugin says that the present war in Ukraine is not Russia's war with Ukraine, but Russia's war with the full West, and in a civilized sense war with the "civilization of Antichrist". It turns out that long before Dugin, a akin thesis was formulated by an emigration Russian writer, a French citizen, Vladimir Volkoff.
Who was he? "Vladimir Volkoff, Vladimir Volkov (born 7 November 1932 in Paris, born 14 September 2005 in Bourdeilles), French writer. He came from a household of Russian expatriates, he was the nephew of composer Piotr Tchaikovsky. He graduated from Sorbonne, was a prof. at the University of Liege. During the Algerian War, he served as a French intelligence officer. In Poland, it is known mainly for its work on disinformation and propaganda. Bibliography: “Metro pour L’enfer” (1963) – Juliusz Verne Award, “Montage” (Le Montage, 1982) – French Academy Award – in Poland published in the 1980s by Polonie Book Found and reprinted in second circulation by CDN. Resumed by the Catholic Book Club (KKK) in 2006; "Disinformation – weapons of war" (La désinformation arme de guerre) – in Poland published by the publishing home Delicon (1991) and Antyk (2000); "Treaty on Disinformation. The thesis, which we are curious in, was made clear in the fresh “The Conspiracy” (Le Comlot, Paris 2003). The fresh "The Conspiracy" takes place within 1 year (2001-2002), just after the muslim terrorists attack on the WTC in fresh York City. A semi-secret organization operating in the United States, called the Club's book, runs an operation against Russia. The main character, Robert Chastow, is tasked with reaching the interior of the Boyar League, a group of Russian intellectuals gathering at the Myshkin Palace in Petersburg. The Boyar League is simply a trust of brains planning the future of Russia. The club wants to know what they're talking about at Boy League meetings, and it wants to paralyze her actions and impose on the media her black piar. To this end, Chastow has made contact with Chechen terrorists who have "entry" in Russia. The game is besides attended by a retired Colonel of the French peculiar Services, Samson Sangdeboeuf, who secures the interests of the French oil company in the Caspian Sea region. The French begin to play on the Russian side and in time exposes the Chastov game with them. However, the end of the fresh is simply a surprise to the reader.
The author of “The Conspiracy” reveals to us the scenes of a large game that has been going on for decades. The club wants to destruct Russia, due to the fact that according to it, it stands in the way of the main goal – the liquidation of states, nations and the creation of a planet government. Young Robert is only a link in the relay of generations of his family. His grandpa was already in the club. He left him a letter of protest in which he told him the objectives of the organization:
“Our Club declared war on a man on a horse a long time ago. We have always been on the side of the weaker (and in any case little strong), the mediocre (and in any case little rich) and not due to Christian or innate compassion, but due to the deep belief that people should be equal. And it's not that they're born equal – all fool sees that it's not, and that equals should be made. Of course, it would be perfect if all people could be rich, but since it is impossible, a better planet is 1 in which everyone is mediocre than ours, in which there are mediocre and rich. Yes, equality is not natural, it is even completely contrary to nature, and that is why it costs so much (counting in money and in human life), but what distinguishes man and animal is precisely the fact that it is not limited by its own nature. Is there a natural skydiving or walking on the moon like Neil Armstrong?
The goal of our Club (at least in my opinion) is to make humanity free of conflict. There is only 1 way to accomplish this: a global government. And there will be no global government as long as there are people on horses, jealous of their privileges. In order to make a global government, it is essential to reduce as much as possible all existing governments, but 1 (it happens to be ours), which we gotta infiltrate (it will not be difficult). Since the beginning of its existence, the Club has already blown many cavalrymen from the saddle, including, at the beginning of the century – a bagatela! – 3 European emperors (when I scope the end of these confessions, you will see that your old grandpa played a function in this election). The next generation did not remainder on the laurels and on a certain day you will learn how in the 1930s we co-funded Hitler and Stalin, the effects of which are known to you – the defeat of Germany and the faltering positions of the USSR (...)
I am going back to Russia. callback the words that Turgieniev put in Putugin’s mouth in “Smoke’. “If abruptly a nation was to vanish from the surface of the earth along with everything it had always invented, our Orthodox mother-Russia could easy fall into the abyss, without moving a single nail or a single pin; everything would be in its place, due to the fact that even samovar, catch, biga or knut — these celebrated Russian products were not invented by us.” That's not true. Not only due to the fact that the planet would thus become poorer, deprived of icons, monastic music and all nineteenth century painting, literature and Russian music, but above all due to the fact that Russia is another war of human history.which paradoxically makes from the club’s point of view, it would be good if she disappeared.”
Therefore, the message of the fresh is clear – Russia, with its specificization of civilization, this "otherness", opposition to the ideological influences of the Club – is simply a mortal enemy. That's why they fight her with the power of the United States. But for the U.S. Club, it is besides just a tool, it is not about the interests of this country – the goal is the planet government, the triumph of globalism. Finally, the author, as I mentioned, surprises the reader. The club is actually a giant fiction, its activity is not based on any rule – 1 motor is nihilism and the desire to destruct everything. From the screen of Chastov's computer, he is looked at by his boss, 1 of the ‘patriarchs’, whose face at any point turns to belzebub's face.
When I first read this novel, the Western confrontation with Russia was not at the same phase as now. Yes, even the alleged reset. Therefore, it would seem that Volkoff's thesis was somewhat exaggerated, for the purposes of the novel. However, today, erstwhile we have a fresh full phase of confrontation, Volkoff's fresh appears to be prophetic, and the fresh belzebub has a circumstantial counterpart, and the Club is not a fiction.
