Pro-Russian forces of Mali retaliated for Russia's fresh defeat

Between 22 and 27 July, the Malian army and supporting Russian mercenaries suffered crucial losses in the Tinzaouaten area, close the border with Algeria. These clashes were very painful especially for Russians who according to various sources lost under Tinzaouaten from 20 to 80 mercenaries and respective commanders. This is so far the biggest failure they have had in Africa.
