The territory Attorney's Office in Warsaw refused to initiate an investigation into the failure to pay the funds of the Law and Justice organization as a subsidy. This decision means that Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski will not should be held liable for allegations of overshooting or failing to fulfil his duties. According to the findings of the diary of the Legal Newspaper, investigators found that the activities of the minister and the officials under him do not bear a ‘sign of prohibited act’.
Three notices and 1 order
Three notifications were received from the prosecutor's office, including financial typical of the Law and Justice Office Tomasz Bartczak and national activist Robert Bąkiewicz. These letters alleged that the Minister of Domański and his subordinate officials, despite the adoption of the PiS Financial Statements by the State Electoral Commission (PKW), had not taken the decision to pay the entity grant.

Unprecedented situation and legal doubts
The Prosecutor's Office stressed that the situation we are dealing with is unprecedented in the systemic practice of PKW. The Minister of Finance was obliged to explain all legal doubts before the implementation of the resolution of the PCW. Therefore, Andrzej Domański asked PKW for additional explanations.
"Journal of Law Newspapers" recalls that PKW yet adopted the financial study of the Law and Justice Office on 30 December 2024, following the decision of the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs of the ultimate Court. Despite this, the Minister of Domański did not implement the resolution of PKW, which resulted in the failure to pay the full amount of subsidy for the Jarosław Kaczyński Party.
Will the prosecution's decision end the dispute?
The prosecution's decision may be seen as a triumph for the finance minister, but this does not mean the end of controversy. PiS has already announced that he will search to explain the substance in court. The legal doubts that have become the basis for the prosecution's decision may be further examined and debated by experts.
In the context of this case, it is worth noting the function of the PCW and its decisions, which in practice may be questioned by state authorities. Will this situation affect future relations between government and control institutions? That question remains open.
