“Donald Tusk clearly reflects sovereignty under the wings of Berlin, Brussels and Paris,” says Prof. Andrzej Nowak in an interview with the portal atPoliticy.pl. Historian refers to the announcements of Donald Tusk, who, in conjunction with the march on the 1000th anniversary of the Kingdom of Poland and the 500th anniversary of the Prussian tribute held on 12 April in Warsaw, announced his own manifestation to take place in the capital on 11 May.
Donald Tusk organizes his march as a consequence to an event organised by the Law and Justice.
The best answer to the PiS April march will be the large May patriot march. due to the fact that this May will decide whether Poland will be strong and safe or lonely and weak. Do we have an appointment? Sunday, May 11, Warsaw, noon. Let me know if you come!
said Tusk.
We asked prof. Andrzej Nowak to comment on Tusk's decision.
Donald Tusk reacts to the rhythm of the election campaign. I'm not amazed to arrange specified a march. I am only sorry that the Prime Minister of the Polish Government does not see the anniversary of the 1000th anniversary of the coronation of the Polish state and the issue which it reminds, that is the sovereignty of Poland. The same sovereignty which it so unequivocally puts under the wings of Berlin, Brussels and Paris. I am talking about the next areas of sovereignty that it envisages to be transferred, out of the control of the sovereign state to Brussels, the celebrated White Paper. Including defence and safety issues. And these are the issues of the Chrobry anniversary. This anniversary is deliberately withheld, and focuses solely on the effort to destruct the opposition. The march itself, as a form of political demonstration, is nothing bad. However, in conjunction with the request made to the European Court of Human Rights for torture by the Donald Tusk regime, it is only creating the right context for the Tusk march
– says the historian.
This is the march of those who advocate torture, a extremist lie in political life, who de facto side with the murderers of Mrs. Barbara Violin
– adds.
When asked about the deficiency of public celebrations of the anniversary of the 1000th anniversary of the Kingdom of Poland, Prof. Nowak draws attention to the wider problem.
This is in line with the changes in the programme basis introduced by Minister Nowack, who unequivocally say that in teaching Polish children and young people there should be no place for any elements resembling Polish sovereignty, Polish historical tradition, the size of Poland's history, and there should be no place for an integrated European teaching platform, where there will simply be no place for national states. So why celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Poland's sovereignty erstwhile present the goal is to bury it?
– asks Prof. Andrzej Nowak.
If individual thinks that as a Pole should take care of the liquidation of Polish sovereignty, he should necessarily execute in Donald Tusk's march
– adds.
Not. TK
