Troubles of Koalicjant Olaf Scholz. This proposal enraged his own party

The trigger of the conflict is Robert Habeck's “security offensive”: a 10-point migration and interior safety policy plan. The Vice-Chancellor makes proposals on, among others, handling of offenders and calls to increasing the powers of police and authorities.

In particular, the organization youth girl entered the attack and made serious accusations against Habeck. Junior organization staff accuses the Vice Chancellor of leading "hate-based deportation policy"which is ‘right-wing-oriented’. He threatens: “If Habeck goes to the right, we go to the left.”

It is worth noting that organization leadership barely made Habeck's plan public. And erstwhile Franziska Brantner, co-chair of the Greens, posted Habeck's program on Instagram, The storm has begun.

Franziska Brantner, co-chair of the Green Party, at a organization conference. Berlin, 26 January 2025.

Comments were full of opposition and shock from organization supporters:

  • "The right represents its point of view, and we respond by taking the right-wing point";
  • ‘Is this the position of the CDU on a green background?’;
  • "This election run is so bitter";
  • “Despite all your willingness to compromise, delight do not go for it!”
  • ‘This plan is simply completely problematic’;
  • "Was that truly essential now?".

Brantner yet removed the post. Asking “Bilda” why it is no longer visible, has not yet answered.

"Double Failure"

According to our findings, the emphasis on "security offensive" was completely uncoordinated and went far beyond the election program that was adopted at the organization conference in late January.

Behind the scenes now there is fear of Habeck's uncoordinated, independent initiative. At the same time, the candidate for Chancellor is accused of immediate withdrawal in the face of adversity.

— This maneuver is simply a double failure: first, you insult your people to the maximum without consulting, then you step down and back off. This is not what leadership looks like, as the origin from the organization tells us.
