The aura of presidential power presently surrounding Donald Trump should not blind us to the fact that the Romanian case was in fact implemented earlier in America. The world's leading populist, with his legacy, was expected to end up, if not behind bars, then at least in the dustbin of history. but that the American strategy was not sufficiently closed.
