President Karol Nawrocki present congratulated Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on moving the government with the longest internship in the past of the Italian Republic. The president stressed that Poland, and he personally, highly appreciates close relationship with Italy.
Since Friday, the government of Giorgia Meloni is the longest continuously working cabinet in the past of the Italian Republic: it has been in operation for 1413 days. The second government of Silvio Berlusconi from 2001 to 2005 was overtaken by 1 day.
President Karol Nawrocki, in his entry on the X platform, congratulated Meloni on his exceptional accomplishment – to direct the government with the longest internship in the past of the Italian Republic.
"This accomplishment is not only a sign of her commitment and leadership abilities, but, above all, of the lasting trust that Italians have in her. Poland – and I personally besides – appreciate our close relationship with Italy. I look forward to continuing our strong cooperation, based on common values and a common imagination of a safe and prosperous Europe," wrote the President.
