President Karol Nawrocki reported that he did not sign an amendment to the Act on Assistance to Ukrainian Citizens. His decision was motivated, among others, by the fact that only those Ukrainians who work in Poland should receive the 800 plus benefit. The president besides announced a legislative initiative which in the penal code will match the "bander symbol" with the Nazi and Communist symbols. "We should include a clear slogan in the bill: halt flagism," said the President.
