In any major cities, the rivalry for presidents' seats has already settled in the first circular of elections. In others, however, the situation is inactive unresolved. In Wrocław, for the seat of the town's manor, Jacek Sutryk and the candidate of the 3rd Dear MP Isabella Bodnar will fight for re-election. In Poznań other president Jacek Jaskowiak (PO) will become Zbigniew Czerwiński (PiS). A duel in Krakow will be settled between Alexander Miszalski and Łukasz Gibala.
Although the biggest cities attract the attention of the media and commentators, the fight in smaller centres is equally interesting. In Greater Poland Konin, he will fight for the seat of president Robert Popkowski from the United Right. This is an unpleasant surprise for liberal groups, who saw Piotr Korytkowski from the Civic Coalition as a brick favorite.
Popkowski is an entrepreneur. Many years ago, he founded a company in Konin, which he managed so hither that present it is valued and recognized throughout Poland. This experience makes it natural for the Confederate electorate to support it. However, in Konin, the key to triumph will be to win the support of the left-wing electorate. It is rather different from the 1 known from Warsaw, Gdańsk or Poznań. little ideologically progressive, more socially sensitive. Above all, however, inactive with sentiment looking at the PRL period.
In the second circular of presidential elections in Siemianowice Śląski seeking re-election candidate Poland There is 1 Rafał Piech He will face Anna Rule-Chorab of the civilian Coalition. 2 weeks ago, they were supported by 28.02 percent and 25.46 percent respectively. This year's elections are a kind of plebiscite of the popularity of the incumbent president. The full political establishment supported by the service media stood in 1 line against the Infantry. In the Siemianowice campaign, there are fewer meteorics or references to the quality of the existing city management and quite a few ideological contaminantness. It seems that the main problem for the Piech antagonists is not its competence (because these are not questioned) but beliefs.
Far more assured than Rafal Piech may feel Wojciech Bakun. Although a second circular will be needed in Przemysl to choice the winner, the President-in-Office will bring to her a considerable advantage gained in the first clash. The erstwhile MP K’15 obtained 46.23 percent of the votes, his rival Tomasz Dziumak 19.77 percent. This consequence favours Bakuna, besides supported by national and counter-systemic environments.
The real electoral war, on the another hand, is taking place in the tiny mediate of Wielkopolska. With the city's current ruler, left-liberal Piotr Mielochem fights to return to the mayor's seat his predecessor, Wojciech Ziętkowski. Ziętkowski is well known and valued by the Wielkopolska patriotic circles. In an election duel, he must face not only his rival and his broad political background but besides a wave of talk and dirty plays. The election run in this tiny region town has focused as in lens all the pathologies of the current political system, completely losing the substantive face.
The election overtime is so expected to be unexpectedly interesting. In many places, the consequence will actually affect the quality of life of residents. It is so worth looking at candidates and considering the anticipation of enjoying our civic privilege of active electoral law. Especially if there's a candidate in our town worth our support.
