After winning, Nicosor Dan said he hoped that "in Poland, the pro-European candidate will win". He besides added that cooperation between our countries would be crucial for Europe's security.
A second circular of early presidential elections was held in Romania last Sunday. Dan gained 54.31 percent support and defeated AUR organization leader George Simion (45.69 percent).
“Romania and Poland are very large countries, so if Europe wants to take work for its own security, we must agree on fundamental issues,” Dan said. He is simply a pro-European candidate who advocates strengthening Romania's position in the European Union, expanding its activity and expanding the European defence industry.
