Presidential election 2025. A hard fight for the Presidential Palace

Rafał Trzaskowski, a candidate of the Civic Coalition, remains the leader of the race for presidency, although his advantage over Karol Nawrocki, a candidate supported by the Law and Justice, gradually declines. The 2025 presidential election will take place in May. The latest United Surveys poll for “Virtual Poland” reveals amazing changes in the election preferences of Poles, which can importantly influence the final result of the elections.

Rafał Trzaskowski inactive enjoys the top support – 36.9 percent of respondents declared their willingness to vote for him in the first round. However, a decline of 3.5 percent points compared to the erstwhile survey shows that its position is no longer so stable. In the second round, Trzaskowski inactive leads with a consequence of 50.3%, but recorded a decrease of 5.6 percent points, which may origin concern in the KO staff.

Dynamic growth in support for Nawrocki

Karol Nawrocki, president of the IPN and candidate supported by the Law and Justice Office, gained as much as 5.8 percent points in the first round, reaching a score of 30.3%. In the second round, his support besides increased by awesome 7.5 percent points, giving him 41.2 percent of the vote. These changes show that Nawrocki is effectively building his position as Trzaskowski's main rival.

The 3rd place was placed by the talker of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia with a score of 7.9 percent, although he recorded a decrease of 1.3 percent points. Sławomir Mentzen of the Confederation scored 7.3 percent, but his score fell by 3.4 percent points, which cost him a place on the podium. The Left candidate, most likely Magdalena Biejat, would gain 4.8 percent support, while Marek Jakubiak achieved only 0.5 percent.

The survey clearly indicates that the second circular of elections will take place between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki. Although Trzaskowski inactive has the advantage, the dynamics of the growth of support for Nawrocki suggests that the final decision may be more severe than the current data.
