The Citizen Coalition candidate, Rafał Trzaskowski, won the first circular of the presidential election. In the second round, he will face the Law and Justice-supported Karol Nawrocki. This is the second time Trzaskowski is fighting for the highest office in the state — in erstwhile elections he besides reached the final, gaining crucial support. Now both candidates will stand for a decisive clash, which will decide the direction in which Poland will go for the coming years.
