The president appointed the General Commander of the Russian Federation and the Commander of the WOT

President of the Republic of Poland Armed Forces Commander Andrzej Duda, on the basis of Article 134(3) of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, signed the provisions to appoint – as of 7 February 2023 – General Commander of the Types of Armed Forces General Wiesław Kukuła and to the position of Commander of the Territorial Defence Army of Brigadier General Maciej Klisz.
