Fico on his profile on the Telegram posted, without comment, a short video of welcome with Putin. According to the AFP, the conversations are one-on-one. Slovak media reports that this is the first gathering of these politicians since 2016, and that Fico is the only - but Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban - leader of the EU country to meet Putin despite Russia's attack on Ukraine.
