The government's elder policy is based on 2 pillars: safeguarding their financial situation and activating them. In April, the seniors received 13th retirement. Older people can besides benefit from government programs specified as Senior+ or Leki75+. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited the Senior+ Club in Skalbmierz, which received backing from the government program. During the talks he talked about another solution to improve the financial situation of pensioners and pensioners, which the Council of Ministers adopted at 1 of the last meetings – the 14th pension will be paid annually.
Seniors can number on government support

In its actions, the government is guided by intergenerational solidarity. The seniors, in a peculiar way, can number on government support. As of 2019, 13th retirement has been paid to pensioners and pensioners. The government decided on additional support – the 14th pension, which will be paid annually by the government decision. The Council of Ministers has already adopted a bill in this respect.
We care about the wellness of seniors
In 2016, we introduced the Leki 75+ program. It allows seniors to benefit from free medications, whose list is constantly being expanded. Nearly 4 million pensioners have already saved over 4.5 billion PLN on medicines. The government plans to extend the programme for fresh age categories from 1 January 2024 – for people from 65 years of age and children to 18 years of age.
Government programs activating seniors
We want our seniors to be active and healthy. Thanks to our programs, this is possible. Older people have the chance to meet, talk and various creative activities in their age group.
Senior +
We aid local governments make and keep regular homes and clubs for seniors. In 2015-2022, nearly 1,200 support centres "Senior+" were established in Poland. We have allocated PLN 300 million to the programme.
Active+
We financially support projects that are aimed at elder citizens. Between 2021 and 2020, we funded a full of 630 tasks. As part of these activities, around 170 000 older people received support.
Senior+ Club in Skalbmierz
The Senior+ Club in Skalbmierz provides 20 seats for seniors. The Club hosts, 3 times a week, classes for participants as well as various kinds of meetings and events. The building besides houses the Municipal Retirement Circle, Rentists and Invalids.
