We have introduced a family-friendly policy and many solutions that strengthen the position of families. These programs include household Care Capital, Good Start, household 500+ or Small+. We have taken concrete measures that let families to live a dignified life. The direct support that all household feels is besides reduced taxes. These are, for example, solutions specified as lower PIT tax, a larger tax-free amount and relief for large families.
– We did the Copernican Revolution in politics. I can usage specified powerful words due to the fact that everything we've been doing since then, for 7 years with a wrap, has served the family. I think you can see that. This is not only a simplification of poverty, poverty, but besides the creation of fresh jobs. This is an effective fight against these ghosts of the 3rd Republic, the ghosts of families besides – that is, unemployment – emphasized the head of the Polish government.
International household Day
We celebrate global household Day on May 15. On this occasion, the head of the Polish government met with families during a picnic in Otwock.
– Dear Families, present we celebrate your day – global household Day. I want to emphasize that for our government household Day is practically all day, due to the fact that most of our full policy is just for strengthening the position of families," said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
Family solutions – concrete support
It's a good day to remind you of the concrete solutions we've introduced. This includes direct support for families in the form of programmes:
- Family Care Capitalwho is entitled to a second and any subsequent kid in a household aged 12 to 35 months of age up to a maximum of PLN 12,000 per child;
- Good Start, i.e. one-off support of PLN 400 for all students who start the school year;
- Family 500+, which guarantees 500 PLN for each kid until the age of 18.
The Prime Minister announced the continuation of the household policy – from 1 January 2024 alternatively of 500+, 800+ will enter into force.
New care places for the youngest
We besides propose solutions that let parents to return more rapidly to the labour marketplace and further professional development. Small+ This is simply a program that creates fresh childcare facilities up to the age of 3. Local governments besides receive funds for their functioning.
Over the last 6 years, we have tripled the number of childcare facilities up to 3 years. In 2015, it was 84 1000 seats, and at the end of 2022 – over 230 thousand.
We're continuing this program. As part of the 2022-2029 edition, the budget will be 5.5 billion, and thanks to the backing we will make 87,862 fresh places for children!
During his visit to Otwock, the Prime Minister gave the city authorities a symbolic check for the creation of a city nursery. For this intent we donated almost PLN 4.9 million, and another 3.6 million of backing for the operation of the nursery.
Better financial situation for families with children
The simplification of unemployment translates into a better situation for Polish families – parents no longer gotta go abroad to find employment and support the family, as it was a fewer years ago. taxation reductions besides have a affirmative impact – specified as an increase of the amount free to PLN 30 000.
