Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Marek Kuchciński inaugurated the first gathering in the framework of the “Warsaw Conference – Permanent Working Review Conference of Ukraine Support”. Thanks to regular meetings in Warsaw, participants of the conference will be able to monitor actions of the global community to support Ukraine. The beginning was attended by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Vasily Zwarycz and US State Department typical Scott Turner. Maintaining the global community's advanced commitment to ongoing aid to the Ukrainian state and society is peculiarly crucial in fresh times for repeated threats of re-attack by the Russian aggressor.
Warsaw Conference – regular meetings





The conference was besides organised by the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Ministry of Interior and Administration and the survey of east Europe at the University of Warsaw. Permanent Working Conference of Ukraine Support Review supports the activities of the global community. Conference participants will study on their actions to date and agree on plans for the close future.
“Today Ukraine inactive needs our support. Above all, Ukraine needs hope. This hope is born here in Poland, it is born in all Polish home where war refugees have been admitted, it is born in all diplomatic success, in all success, which increases support for Ukraine internationally," said the Prime Minister.
Actions to date for Ukraine
Conference participants, on the discussion panel, will discuss support for citizens Ukraine fleeing the war and its activities and the main challenges of assistance in 2023. Assistance projects from NGOs, as well as investigation on refugees from Ukraine who have found shelter in the countries of our region, will be presented.
– The most crucial thing at this moment, as regards support for the fighting Ukraine, is to aid war refugees. People who frequently had to leave their country in a large hurry. Poland and another free planet countries have been helping these millions of people from the beginning," said KPRM chief Marek Kuchciński. He added: – in the second subject we would like to propose that there be support for the Ukrainian state for maintaining the energy system. This issue contributes to the resilience of the Ukrainian state and society.
Poland supports Ukraine with energy
The second panel of the Warsaw Conference will focus on Ukraine's support in the field of electricity. Accessibility to electricity is simply a key stabilising origin in the face of regular Russian attacks on Ukrainian critical infrastructure since autumn.
The Russian strategy is besides the fight against the civilian population by depriving it of power, heat and water supplies in winter conditions. The global community must take strong and coordinated action in its response. Since the beginning of the war, Poland has been in contact with representatives of the Ukrainian energy sector. The Ukrainian side receives the essential assistance from us to stabilise its system.
“The heroic conflict of the Ukrainian people saved not only Ukraine itself, but awakened many countries of the free planet from a geopolitical nap,” emphasized the head of the Polish government Mateusz Morawiecki. And he added: – war in Ukraine, this is not evidence of Russia's strength. This war is simply a test for the West. We are faced with a clear choice: either the triumph of Russia and the defeat of the West, or the Renaissance of Western civilization. Without the support of countries like Poland, Ukraine would already be 1 large ruin.
